Plot, Character and Setting Options

Here are the search options you may choose for a Plot, character and setting search.

Race: you may search for books with a main character who is
· Any race (default)
· Black
· White
· Asian
· Mixed race
· Other culture
· Non human

Age: you may search for books with a main character aged
· any age (default)
· 0 - 25
· 26 - 50
· 50 +

Sexuality: you may search for books with a main character whose sexual preference is
· Any sexuality (default)
· Straight
· Gay
· Bisexual

Gender: you may search for books with a main character who is
· Any gender (default)
· Male
· Female

Plot: you may search for books with one of these plot shapes
· Any plot shape (default)
· Success against the odds
· Conflict
· Lots of twists and turns
· Open
· Quest
· Revelations
· Generations

Setting: you may search for books set in either one of a number of geographical regions, or in an individual country.

All the regions and countries are held in a single list; the regions are listed alphabetically first, then the countries, also in alphabetic order. When selecting an individual country using the drop-down menu, you may find it easier to type - which will take you to a heading - start of list of countries --, then to type the first letter of the country you want, and finally to use the down arrow to get to the desired country. This will be much quicker than stepping through the entire list.
