The Boy in the Lake by Eric Swanson

The Boy in the Lake

Eric Swanson

This is about a gay man returning to his childhood home and confronting his past. I found it a very convincing description of what it's like to grow up gay, including both first love and homophobia. Be prepared for an intense but somewhat downbeat read.
