Cocaine by Phil Strongman

Cocaine

Phil Strongman

If you want to feel part of London's drug/music scene, read this. It's very atmospheric and fast moving. Pete, the main character, is very believable . I liked him in spite of all his failings.

Extract
I was so out of it, so very well out of it. Completely off my face. Almost floating. Everything was blurred and slurred. People's faces looked like they were smeared with Vaseline. They, and everything else , moved either a little too fast, jerky like, or in slight slow-motion - like a very arty movie.
