How to Stop Time

I was intrigued by the concept of a character living forever as a member of a very select group - isn't it what most of us would want? In theory it sounds great but, as the novel shows, it has it's own problems - not least that all the other people die. Great pace, interesting characters and always the sense of danger that your secret may be discovered. Another great read from a prolific and popular author.


I am old.
That's is the main thing to tell you. The thing you are least likely to believe. If you saw me you would probably think I was about forty, but you would be very wrong.
I am old - old in the way that a tree, or a quahog clam, or a Renaissance painting is old.
