Naked Pueblo

by Mark Poirier

This may be a collection of short stories about folk with no goal or real purpose, but somehow it doesn't depress, it makes you laugh! The characters generally have bad habits, bad language and a bad attitude, but they are never predictable. Whether they draw your sympathy, disgust, or anger, they will always entertain.

Chigger had been lying about the raised lollipop-shaped scar on his neck since the day after he got it, back when he was twelve or thirteen. What really happened was he ran into a barbed wire fence because Petronis' dog chased his perverted ass out of the yard the night we were trying to see Mindy undress before she got into her big pink girlie-frilled bed.
