I Do Not Come to You By Chance

Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani

I felt immediate sympathy for Kingsley and his family who are living in poverty in Nigeria. As the eldest son, the dutiful and proud ‘Kings’ is forced to trade in his principles, and those of his recently deceased father, to seek the help of his wealthy uncle ‘Cash Daddy’. Kingsley is a warm character who, although doesn't always do the right things, does them for the right reasons.
