The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino

The Devotion of Suspect X

Keigo Higashino

Credible and moving, this is an intricate, chillingly suspense filled novel. For me, it beats the usual type of tale featuring Sherlockian sleuths or thrillers dependent on crazed geniuses who serially kill, hands down. Oh and there's no centuries old religious conspiracy either. Read it, tell your friends, and let's start a new fashion for suspense stories that could happen to anyone.

'Great. we can drink sake and talk maths.'
'You mean talk maths and murder.'
Yukawa shrugged and wrinkled his brow. 'Maybe so. Though I did come up with a new problem for you .... Which is harder: devising an unsoluble problem, or solving that problem? And it's not an empty question. I guarantee this puzzle has an answer. Interesting, no?'
