It's About Your Friend by Phillip Scott

It's About Your Friend

Phillip Scott

Funny and full of coincidence, but the characters are believable enough to see this, also, as a cautionary tale of what can happen if obsession takes over your life.

Extract
Aaron's profligate lifestyle of sex and sound equipment was soon to be curtailed by a shattering event: the simultaneous arrival in the mail of two credit card bills. He knew not to worry, but it would be sensible to stem the outgoing cashflow for a while. In an unusually vulnerable moment, he even toyed with the idea of paying off one of the outstanding accounts, but he didn't have the money, and besides, such a rash act would be against sound fiscal practice.
