The Eye of Eternity by Maggie Furey

The Eye of Eternity

Maggie Furey

The title is better than the book; which proved to be a safe and predictable end to the trilogy rather than living up to its early promise. Mainly recommended for dedidicated Fantasy fans.

Extract
Amaurn never saw it coming. He only knew he had been wounded when an icy shock in his side sent him reeling away as agony scored through him. He could feel blood soaking into his tunic, his vision swam and giddiness overwhelmed him. The Takur followed up without mercy. It bore down on him, the bloodstained blade that proved his undoing poised to strike again.
