The Seven Sisters by Margaret Drabble

The Seven Sisters

Margaret Drabble

A touching, if somewhat depressing, diary of a woman who is trying to make sense of her past and create a new future of herself in the totally alien environment of West London. We see her moments of distrust, depression and anxiety along with her dreams and her fantasies, as she discovers both old and new friends.

I see I have mentioned Andrew three times already in this diary. I think that means that I should try to give some account of him and of my marriage to him. I am not sure that I will be able to tell the truth. I am not sure if I know the truth. I will try not to whine and bleat too much.
