Sorting out Billy by Jo Brand

Sorting out Billy

Jo Brand

Chick lit in bovver boots! Three women friends try ineptly to sort out their lives and their men. Slapstick, but asks a serious question: why are some men verbally and physically aggressive to the women they claim to love? And why do said women put up with it?

Extract

Just as the duvet floated over this bizarre collection of goods, there was a knock at the door.
