The Outing by Audrey Corr

The Outing

Audrey Corr

If you want a light-hearted, amusing and undemanding holiday read, try this. A little on the predictable side, with everything going wrong that could go wrong, but still enjoyable.

Extract
The day for the outing had arrived. Iris showered and dressed with care. She wanted her outfit to suggest smart but casual, efficient yet comfortable, so, after much deliberating, she decided on her black skirt, the white T-shirt with the little rose on the pocket, and her black fleece ... Finally she hung her dad's whistle round her neck. A whistle could be very handy when rounding up the elderly.
