A romance that lasts a lifetime. Time, separation and lives lived cannot get in the way of this love. My emotions went through a rollercoaster journey throughout this novel and I couldn't put it down. I found it extraordinarily moving.
'And I hope you don't mind-' she rummaged in her satchel, and pulled out a camera .... 'But I took a photograph from back there, because you do look very French. The picture I had in my head, anyway.'
Laure did not blink.
