Triangulation

Phil Whitaker

Set in 1950s' Britain and colonial Africa, this is a love triangle and it's also about map making and the Secret Service. I found it absorbing and sad in parts but the narrator is so unaware of his real self I wanted to shake him right to the end.

Extract
I've found myself a window seat complete with table and have elected to sit facing backwards, so to speak, the landscape unfolding as we progress .... I've brought quite a bit of reading material to help me while away the hours - my personal correspondence which is somewhat sensitive in nature.
