The Whisperer by Donato Carrisi

The Whisperer

Donato Carrisi

'Perfect for Stieg Larsson fans to move on to'? 'Gripping ... I defy anyone to guess the denouement'? For me The Whisperer lived up to ALL its hype and then some. OK if you read thrillers for their settings you're going to be disappointed, but I found the non specific location a definite plus allowing me imagine next door, Italy and Hammer House of Horror all at the same time. Just go ahead and enjoy the amazing plotting.

' Felder isn't going to be taken in: he's already predicted everything including his own death,' observed Sarah Rosa. 'He's trying to think up a coup de theatre so that he can go out with a bang.'

She wasn't mistaken.
