A band of civilians storm the streets of Seattle to stage a peaceful protest against World Trade negotiations. The peaceful sit-in quickly escalates to violence as riot police take back control of the city. The story unfolds over one day, with a cast of characters representing the different sides of the protest. I felt myself drawn into the heart of the action and emphasised with the opposing views as each character's past was revealed to me.

They wanted to tear down the borders, to make a leap into a kind of love that would be like living inside a new human skin, wanted to dream themselves into a life they did not yet know.
