London Dust by Lee Jackson

London Dust

Lee Jackson

A murder mystery taking in a historical tour of the streets of Victorian London. It made me want to get out and explore them for myself. The story shows you behind the scenes of the theatre at that time and kept me guessing almost to the end.

Instinctively, I thought it was some peculiar piece of theatrical foolery, a joke at my expense; I expected her to stand up and take a bow. She did not move .... I ran my fingers over the damp silk, trying to hear her heart beating. It was a grey silk, London Dust or Navarino.
