The Devil's Larder by Jim Crace

The Devil's Larder

Jim Crace

Wicked and witty short stories, all on the theme of food - food as temptation, food as bribery, food that satisfies, food that poisons. From feast to famine and back again, I enjoyed their sheer variety and inventiveness. Contains maybe the shortest short story ever (two words)?
