A quarter to eight on the morning of a Tuesday of warm promise and high octane. Sun in the first meridian. Or thereabouts. I'm in, like, standby mode, running on biological, not solar or sidereal time. All the systems are go, the disk's spinning but the screen's down. I'm listening to the minute sounds of roof beams getting their act together and riding electric horses in my head. Electric horses? Don't ask. I'll tell you.
