Philip Marlowe in Brave New World? There's definitely a 'noirish' feel to the super-modern work of Arthur C Dogg the internet detective, which for me made tackling each alternate page (downloaded web data) well worth the effort. Others will probably find these pages more interesting than the ones which present Dogg's conclusions. At the end we can all enjoy the twist in the tail of this very clever story.

Extract

Pretty hard to lock someone up in prison for obeying his genetic imperatives, isn't it? How could you be held responsible for something you have no control over? Or maybe it will work the other way, you lock someone up simply because of their genetic imperatives.
