The Friday Gospels by Jenn Ashworth

The Friday Gospels

Jenn Ashworth

One day in the lives of a Lancastrian Mormon family related in turn by each family member. Although the tensions within the family are severe, their resolution comes as shock for which the reader is not prepared. I thought the characters were brilliant. Will Julian's solution work? We can only hope! A great read.

Julian is going to kill someone. Me, Lewis. He won't even care who. He could have killed me straight when he chucked that mug and he never even looked around around to see what it had hit. Mum was screaming up the stairs and he was off to the workshop without even getting washed and I wish it had hit me and killed me and that's a fact.
