The Ex-Files by Jane Moore

The Ex-Files

Jane Moore

This is a light, amusing read; perfect for the beach or a day when you cannot get out of bed. It's well observed, there are some genuinely funny moments and also some good one liners. You do want it to turn out well for Fay and the descriptions of the wedding plans are extremely well done!

Extract
As he moved aside, Fay was still smiling broadly as she looked up into the face of Mark's brother. It was as if someone had punched her sharp and hard, in the sternum. She struggled to appear calm as she felt panic rise in the pit of her stomach and threaten to explode from her chest. It was the man from the wine bar, whose face had been buried in her naked nether regions just seven days before.
