A suspenseful mystery where not everything is what it seems. The reader is gradually given titbits of plot that completely turn the novel on its head. Quite an uncomfortable read, very cruel and dark in places, but beautiful and enlightening in others. I felt quite relieved (emotionally) once I'd reached the end of it.
